This spot is behind some shell in Johor bahru .....this pond has alot of those fishes that is expensive and very hard to find
its consist of soon hock, haruan, lampam, telapia, sepat and some more species yet to be fished
there are alot of dead trees .so if ur playing popper in the open water its ok but if you are playing in the weedy ares i suggest you to use a stronger braid as the trees are shard cutters
I dont think u should use any minnow or crankbait in this spot as the dead trees are every where so use only surface lures.....the best for the weedy areas are soft plastic frogs

A place where i usually go to pass my time

Taman Merdaka (TM) is near my house.near the famous kolam ayer curry laksa.last time there have 3 pond where haruan , telapia and keli are very abundant there ......last year they held a fishing competition there and the MBJB dump 3 tan of fishes consisting of telapia , pacu , patin , and keli africa ....after that almost everybody came to TM .last time only me and some friends came to TM to fish...last time i could get 3-4 1kg haruan in a day....now the pipes has busted and the water are drained now all the fishes are packed in the lower pond....if u wan to try u can try but the mega haruans are extinct but 500gr-1kg has alot thr.....i have loads of fishes getting hooked by me thr i think u all should try...

i heard that the procedure trying to fix it cost rm17000
but the lousy contractor's work dint last 2weeks.
Now i think to fix it cost even more now

This place is in subang jaya ...its located at the back of the hospital near the empire building.....there are 3 pond.i suggest u not to go to the pond where it is next to the hotel.there is a smaller pond and it is the hot spot for KL anglers in the middle pond which is the smaller pond has alot of 1-5kg patin , toman and haruan.....surprisingly all 3 pond thr have a large numbers of parrot fish . I think u all should not try to catch them as the are religious fishes.another thing is when u go to the 3rd pond its the best pond for me , it is a very very popular jogging spot.there has alot of toman and peacock bass.i got 1 toman last friday btu it managed to get away the fight was phenomenal . i suggest u all to try tat pond .if u are not a casting fan u can go try the 2nd pond the smaller pond it has alot of patin..the locals use a float and bread for bait.simple but effective...
